Stitcher
I began working for Lydia Harmon's Tutu Etoile in Fall 2019 as a stitcher. A variety of styles and colors of tutus were made. A few special costume orders were made for competition or shows. I worked alongside 3 other stitchers to complete projects in an assembly-line style. I also completed my own tutu for a class in Spring 2018.

Historical Costuming
Tech
My senior project combines modern technology with 18th-century dressmaking. Completed 2023. A true polonaise gown was derived from historical research and made to fit both model Jillian Walker and myself. The gown was made from silk bought in LA fabric district and all patterns were derived from historical pattern books. Some of the technology used includes AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Screen Printing, Laser Cutting, 3D printing, and machine stitching.

Power Play
Designer and Stitcher
Made as part of a class in Spring 2020 but part of a larger initiative. Power Play is a program where current and former patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital can have their dream alter ego or superhero created for them by college students. The class consisted of 10 students from many degrees from business to fashion to theatre paired with a patient client. Using our different backgrounds we designed and built these costumes for children to live out their dreams of being strong and powerful. A fashion show was to be held as a benefit for the hospital in Summer 2020.
